Jimmy Borja is a songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Born and raised in the Philippines, his songs have been recorded by artists in that country for labels such as Sony-BMG, Viva, Warner, EMI, Universal, Star and many others.

Many hit songs that he’d written like “Sana Ngayong Pasko”, “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin”, “If The Feeling Is Gone” and many others have become contemporary Philippine music favorites.
A year after moving to Nashville, Borja was offered an exclusive writing deal by Los Angeles based veteran music publisher Christian De Walden, thus becoming the first non-artist, homegrown Filipino songwriter to land a publishing deal in the U.S. He’s now been writing for De Walden’s company for four years who continues to provide him a monthly draw and secure cuts for him in the Asian and Latin markets.
Recent cuts include songs recorded by Rachelle Ann Go, Martin Nievera, David DiMuzio, Jed Madela and Kristoffer Martin in the Philippines, Spanish superstar Marta Sanchez and legendary artist Dionne Warwick, a song that he wrote with Nashville hit writer Byron Hill.
